Central Installation
Compatible to any signal distributor!
Distributed by telephone line, cable television or optical fiber- Homeway is always the best signal distribution system.
No matter which company the customer has chosen, the signal distribution in the building is always of high quality:
The distributor sends the signals to the Homeway center. Normally, there is an output which is connected according to the provider’s instructions. Any device has standard telephone or network interfaces. Here comes the Homeway system to make the difference: using the Homeway patch cable, the respective chosen module on PVD-Units, the signals are received and transferred to the patch panel. Now the signals can be received by any PVD-Unit in the rooms.
Examples on the central interconnections
1) Signal distributor: telephone distributors like TeleCom, OTE, Forthnet, Vivodi etc.
Any signal is distributed by the telephone line.
The devices are connected according to the provider’s instructions and if it is necessary they are also connected among each other.
2) Signal distributor: network wiring provider
Any signal is provided by the telephone line.
The usual output with the three holes is converted to a signal exchanging point. One transition output is needed. |
As for the provider’s transition instructions, a blocking filter is used and then the television line works. |
The cable modem is connected to respective output of the 3-hole socket.
After that, the Homeway cable receives the signal from the cable modem and transfers it to the Homeway patch panel.
So there is no problem for the reverse channel, because the decoupled internet and telephone signal has already been transferred to the center.
