The DS1990A-F5+ iButton® provides a guaranteed unique ID in a small iButton® form factor.  This iButton® is excellent for use as a key in access control systems, inventory control applications, work-in-progress tracking or other applications that require a low cost reliable method of validating identification.

Some of the uses we have seen for is iButton® include:

• Our own data center is secured by a door lock using a DS1990 iButton® as the key.
• As a key in a nursing home with many doors connected via a single 1-Wire bus using our Link Locator product to identify the door being accessed.
• In a carnival to start games so that user IDs may be tracked back to cash boxes eliminating theft.
• As guard tour devices mounted on walls or other locations using the ds9093s button mount.
