About HomeWay PVD-UNIT Sockets.....
The central HomeWay facades are in a white standard such as RAL9010 with default dimensions 50x50mm. Because of these dimensions, the central fronts can be incorporated into each coverage frame of every manufacturer.
Each central facade has removable outlet covers . The sockets for TV-SAT can be covered with these, when the TV module is not plugged in pvd-unit.
Installation and use of PVD-Units
The PVD-UNIT socket is connected to HomeWay cable according to the installation instructions. You need an installation tool, a wire stripper, an electronic cutter and screwdriver.
Note: Use of other cables or of individual is not recommended because it is not compatible with the mechanical elements of the HomeWay.
Standardized boxes in depth of at least 60mm should be introduced. The cable must be inserted from the back of the container, preferably from above.
With the installation of PVD-UNIT socket, basic installation is complete.
You can directly use the outlet PVD-UNIT or to keep it on the wall for later use. When the socket is ready for use, you can equip detachable modules in seconds.
Each outlet PVD-UNIT can serve only one module for TV and broadcasting in the upper region and/or a module for two communication services in the lower area (LAN / RJ11).
Every PVD-UNIT can have four states:
1) Without modules for future applications
2) Assembled with only a TV module for broadcasting and TV applications
3) Assembled with a single communication module
4) Assembled with a TV module and a communication module
